Zirconium Silicate (Zircon Flour)
Zirconium Silicate, commonly known as Zircon Flour, is a high-purity specialty mineral produced from natural zircon. Each production lot is manufactured under strict quality control and tested to ensure consistent chemical composition and particle size distribution.
Available in multiple particle size grades including 75 µm, 45 µm, 5 µm, and 1.2 µm, zirconium silicate is widely used in foundry, investment casting, refractory, and ceramic industries. The material features fine powder consistency with off-white to cream coloration.
Main Applications
- Investment casting shell and core materials
- Foundry molds and cores
- Refractory coatings for high-temperature furnaces
- Glaze opacifiers for ceramics and tiles
- Grinding media and polishing compounds
- Abrasives for precision grinding
